Firstly, tell us about your internship and the role assigned to you. “I took the internship by filling a google form which was sent to me through my college email-id. I remember filling it and after a few days, our internship head called me and took my interview, and then I was selected for the role of content creation. I write video scripts, direct them, and edit for the team. It has been going well.” How did you find this internship? “As I said it was sent to us via Gmail as well as through our class groups. The Finance Club 'Harmoney' from the School of Business and Management (MBA) organizes a 'Finance Quiz' on 1st March 2022 at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. This finance club activity is aimed at checking the knowledge of the students with respect to the Finance Domain. The participants were from MBA Finance with 7 teams of 3 members each. Finance club harmoney had its 5th event on 1st April 2022, where Prof Mohit Boralkar conducted the event with the support of Dr Danish Hussain and coordination of Mr Arun Kumar. The activity commenced at 2:30 PM in the presence of Professor Mohit Boralkar, Professor Danish Hussain and all the finance specialization students. The School of Business and Management (MBA) organized a Corporate talk on 9th April 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. 16 Marketing specialization students participated in the event. The resource person was Mr Zubin Mehta. The speaker firstly spoke about his life experiences working in Naukri.com then Radio Mirchi then Indusind bank and Capgemini. He shared his experience of how he moved from feet on street sales to his journey as AVP sales for Indusind bank. He recounted his knowledge of how he got his first sales and the different types of customers he was able to get from different domains Mr Zubin Mehta talked about his life experiences when he worked in the corporate industry. CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Pune Lavasa Campus has created a tech start-up named CHRIST Infotech to help students learn application development and earn by contributing to live projects. Recently forms were circulated to identify interested students looking to take up this opportunity at CHRIST Infotech. We interviewed three friends and fellow trainees of the program, Aarushi K. CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus organized a Blood Donation Camp under the CSA activity on 29th March 2022. The camp received an overwhelming response from the students and staff of the University. The blood donation was organized in association with ‘Jahangir Hospital Blood Bank’. The camp started at 10:40 AM and the activity continued till 8:30 PM. The venue for the activity was the ‘Smart room’ at the Management block of the University. In the full-day activity, 120 units of blood were collected. A total of 70 units was given to Jahangir Hospital Blood Bank and as there were still several donors another Blood Bank ‘Red Plus Blood Center ‘was also involved in it and a total of 50 units was given to them. Before the blood donation all the required check-ups i.e. Hemoglobin, weight and Blood Pressure were done by Dr Arundhati, the Medical officer at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
