CIMA Valedictory Ceremony




CIMA activities kept everyone engaged and engrossed throughout the academic year. The valedictory ceremony is a tribute to the spirit of comradeship, never say die attitude, giving vent to feelings and uplifting the morale of fellow Christites.

The year-long activities culminated in a fabulous valedictory ceremony which rewarded their efforts in an appealing way. All the clan captains came together under one roof and competed against each other in a dance and drama competition.

CIMA’s valedictory ceremony took place on 6th March 2019 in the Auditorium at CIML. Director, Fr Jossy George greeted everyone warmly. He mentioned that academics hold great importance for the students but when they interact with each other through inter clan activities, it offers a great learning experience.



Fr Jossy pointed out aptly that as an MBA student it is pertinent to be able to connect with others. It adds value to life and their active participation, at different levels, matters the most. Such wholehearted participation vibrates energy in the campus. He thanked the students for their valuable contribution. Fr Jossy specifically thanked Counsellor, Ms Arpita Ghosh for successfully coordinating the event throughout the year. Her invincible style of working with students and management was note worthy.



Mr. Devashish Shedge; Creative Film Director, Program in charge for Radio Mirchi and a Theater Artiste graced the occasion as an external judge.

Mr Shedge, Film Director / Creative Head /Programming Head. Mr Shedge is a creative and highly talented professional Film Director / Senior Creative Director / Programming Head with high quality experience and known for creative and technical excellence, offering discerning eye for detail, creative flair, and resolute determination to maximize quality in fast-paced environments. He has the ability to execute balanced judgment in time-critical projects, deliver on-time, high-quality work andwear different hats in diversified environments without compromise on quality and productivity.

Spartans, Vikings, Samurais and Knights gave commendable performances on the stage and their dance moves exuded energy as they danced in sync with each other on a medley of songs. Their theatrical talents were brought forth in the exciting drama competition. It was followed by screening of films made by the students and prize distribution ceremony. Vikings were the overall winners whereas Samurais were the runner up.
