Bravo Brandits





`Brandits’ is back with a bang yet again for the culmination of all the activities conducted in past trimesters. The Marketing Club’s activities saw mass participation throughout the year. The upcoming events in the next week will take the club to a new level and set a benchmark for the coming years under the leadership and motivation of Dr Benny Goldwin J. The scene has been set to take it beyond the horizon. It has been aptly captioned as `Dream Beyond the Horizon’ and the theme is `Bond of Love’.



16th February 2019 saw the advent of week-long activities by Marketing Club in the form of a group performance.







The event will encompass various activities where the participants will be from a wide array of fields such as students, teaching and non-teaching staff students. The events will also incorporate tourists, shopkeepers and hoteliers, local residents, property owners, and Town-Hall staff.



Various management activities have been planned and scheduled keeping in mind the concept of combining academics with fun. All the students have been divided into four groups namely SPREEFIRITS, MINDHUNTERS, SHADOWHUNTERS and UPBEAT FINIS.



The following events have been scheduled to run parallel daily such as a street play based on expression of love aptly entitled `Love to Exhibit’, 'Joy of Giving’, `Branding Initiatives’ and `Unique Identity’. All the teams will perform on a specific day assigned to them.



'Joy of Giving- `Love to Give' believes that “The secret of giving is very simple – what we give is what we get”. The funds collected by each team will be handed over by Team Leaders by 6 pm each day to Dr Benny, the main coordinator.



`Love for Brand’ is about ways and means of branding their product. The students are entitled to run a marketing campaign for their product in the campus. They may decorate or design the campus without ruining the aesthetics of the college. They are expected to mail a snapshot of their branding initiatives to Dr Benny Godwin. Creativity and maximum reach would fetch them a good score.



 Unique Identity is all about `Love for Identity’. From Monday, 18th February 2019 to Friday, 22nd February 2019 teams will be rewarded with some bonus points for exhibiting their identity in unique and innovative fashion. For instance all the Team Members would be expected to sit together in their respective classes for the next five days and unanimously take active participation in the class. As an alternate they can be dressed in an identical way or share a common colour code.



The street play will be performed daily in the amphitheater during the short break in the morning. So, the stage has been set for a fun filled week long activities by Marketing Club; Brandits and everyone is eagerly looking forward to week long activities.
