72nd Republic Day Celebration
The 72nd Republic day celebrations were held at the Central Block arena initiated by the Students' Bar Association of the School of Law following COVID 19 protection rules. The Academic Coordinator, Heads of Department, Coordinators, Faculty members, Counsellors, Office Administration staff, House Keeping staff, Security personnel and the students were present. The Flag was hoisted by our Director Rev. Fr. Dr Jossy followed by the National Anthem led by Ms Sandhya and Team. As soon as the National flag was hoisted it was greeted by a salute. The address in the English language was by our Director, wherein the emphasis was on Diversity and that is the beauty of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) as we have students from all around the country. The Speech in the Hindi language was delivered by Ms Debhanshi Dhal reminding the young students the true essence of patriotism, rekindling our hearts with the fond remembrance of our soldiers at the borders and to follow the mission and vision of our great leaders.
The housekeeping staff upheld the Indian tradition of breaking the coconut and performed pooja, thus paid respects to the martyrs.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms Theresa Ann Joseph and the programme ended with sweets.
