CIMA 2020-21 - Clan Leader Selection

Pandemics has brought about a radical change in the lives of everyone. Life is confined to the four walls of a house. Yet, CHRIST, Lavasa is making all efforts to reach out to students through various online activities apart from imparting online education. Clan leader selection began with gusto last week. There was an interesting and interactive competition to select a clan leader for the new session 2020-21. Each clan was on the lookout for those courageous warriors who could lead from the front and motivate his or her team to move on with pride and confidence and lead the clan to victory with vision and charisma. The enthusiasm and never give up attitude was a prerequisite for selection. The leader is expected to be inspiring enough to ignite the passion of the entire clan and nothing but victory ought to be in mind.

Those interested were expected to make a 2 minute video and submit to CIMA Google Classroom.


The clan leader competition winners were Karthic Easwar S from Spartans and Shruti Rastogi from Vikings. The final nominees are Akhil Vs Sumanth and Shruti Vs Althea for Vikings, Aaron and Shreya Vs Rhea for Knights, Praveen for Samurais and Karthik Vs Jairaj and Stuti Vs Utsavi for Spartans. Wishing all the best to the final nominees and may each individual student work tirelessly for the benefit of his or her respective clan.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATA SCIENCE, COMPUTATION AND SECURITY - IDSCS’22

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. Dr Samiksha Shukla welcomed the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Vice-Chancellor and the keynote speakers for the day and summarized forthcoming events of IDSCS'22.
