In the inaugural professional seminar for the first-year MSc Economics and Analytics and MSc Data Science students at Christ University, Lavasa, the Department of Data Science orchestrated a valuable event aimed at enlightening students about diverse career prospects within the sector. The event featured Dr. Ramesh Kumar, an esteemed assistant professor at Christ University Lavasa, as the keynote speaker.

The seminar commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Vandana Bhagat, who not only extended her heartfelt greetings but also provided a brief overview of Dr. Ramesh Kumar's illustrious career. Dr. Ramesh Kumar's credentials and accomplishments established him as an ideal speaker to guide the students through the myriad opportunities awaiting them in the field. OUTCOMES OF THE EVENT

Opportunities within the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and its many departments were covered by Dr. Ramesh. He provided insightful information about the structure of the entrance exam paper, the syllabus, reference materials, eligibility requirements, and more.
  1. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Examination: The discussion moved on to the GATE exam, where Dr. Ramesh focused on the prerequisites and even provided thorough information on topic codes.
  2. UPSC test: The expert discussion focused on the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) test, providing in-depth information regarding the exam's requirements and structure.

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022.
