CAROM CHAMPIONSHIP

A Carom Championship was held as part of CIMA initiative at Christ Institute of Management, Lavasa. All the four Clans got into a competitive mood as the elimination round began on 28th July 2018. In Singles (Men) category there was a match between Spartans vs Samurais and Samurais won whereas in Game 2 Vikings vs Knights competed against each other and it was won by Vikings.
In Singles (women) category Game 1 was played between Vikings vs Spartans and it was won by Spartans while Game 2 was between Knights vs Samurais and Knights won the match.
Game 1 of Doubles (Men) match was played between Samurais vs Vikings and it was won by Vikings whereas Game 2 was played between Spartans vs knights and Knights emerged as winners.
On 30th July 2018 in Doubles (women) category an exciting match was played between knights vs Samurais and Knights were declared as winners. Game 2  was played between Spartans vs Vikings and Vikings came first.  In Mixed Group Game 1 Samurais defeated Vikings whereas in Game 2 Knights won against Spartans.

It is noteworthy that the clans compete against each other in a healthy spirit. The students are looking forward to more events in the months to come to accumulate points for their respective clans.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
