CSA(Center for Social Action) Venture

Students of Christ Institute of Management, Lavasa have imbibed the values of Excellence and Service in all walks of life. Marketing students undertook the task of Social Service under the banner of CSA. 

On Wednesday, 1st August 2018, as part of CSA initiative, Rohan, Torani, Vinay from Seniors, Eric, Anish and Esther from Juniors went to Government School, situated at 12th Road, Hill View Street, near Shiva temple.

Young Christies briefed them about basic education and interacted with the students of that school. As a fun activity they conductetd some interactive games such as Dumb charades, Simon says, 7 up and Finding colours. The overall effort was to develop their inter personal skills regarding group coordination along with individual participation.

It was noticed that they were proactive and had the potential to learn new things with a great deal of enthusiasm. Hence CSA as a team has decided to assist them by going there frequently and involving them through some activities. It was also decided to conduct some more events in future to develop and maintain their confidence.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
