Club Activity-27th September 2025
The School of Business and Management (BBA), CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, organized Club Activity on 27th September 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:20 PM at the BBA classrooms. The club activity, coordinated by Ms. Devleena Banerjee with the support of 16 student volunteers, brought together 182 first- and second-year BBA students for a vibrant and engaging learning experience. A total of eight clubs hosted activities that were carefully designed to combine fun with skill-building, thereby fulfilling the dual objectives of entertainment and holistic student development.
The activities conducted by the clubs reflected a balance of academic enrichment, creativity, and professional skill training. The MDQ Club (Munning, Debating, and Quizzing) initiated the session with ice-breaking games that helped students feel at ease. This was followed by structured debates on ethical dilemmas, which encouraged participants to think critically and articulate their arguments confidently. Even the humorous nonsensical argument exercises carried significant value, as they built students’ quick-thinking ability, presence of mind, and self-confidence—qualities that are essential in both academic and professional spaces.
The Ardor Club (HRM) conducted “Who Would You Hire?”, an interactive activity where students assumed the role of HR professionals. Evaluating candidate profiles and making hiring decisions gave participants insights into recruitment, fairness, and the challenges of decision-making in corporate contexts. On the other hand, the SMPR Club tested both creativity and resilience through a blend of quizzes, PR stunt design tasks, and crisis simulations. These activities required students to think on their feet, handle pressure effectively, and demonstrate clarity and confidence in communication.
Overall, the Club Activity held on 27th September successfully combined entertainment with education, giving students opportunities to learn outside the classroom in an interactive and collaborative manner. Across all eight clubs, the focus remained on enhancing not only subject-specific knowledge but also vital soft skills such as teamwork, communication, adaptability, critical thinking, and leadership. The session reflected the university’s commitment to holistic education and experiential learning. By fostering confidence, creativity, and discipline among students, the activity helped prepare them to face real-world challenges with composure and innovation, thereby contributing to their personal, academic, and professional growth.
