Club Activity - 18th October 2025
The MDQ and HRM Clubs collaborated to host a high-energy "Sticky Note Quiz Challenge". This session was designed to combine intellectual recall with physical coordination. Participants were divided into pairs , with one member writing answers on sticky notes and the other sprinting to post them on a designated wall. This format tested accuracy, general knowledge, and the ability to strategize and work efficiently as a team under time constraints.
The Finance Club and the Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Club conducted an interactive session titled “Mini Shark Tank – Pitch, Invest, and Grow!”. This activity had a unique "twist": ED club students were asked to take on the role of investors, while Finance club students were tasked with pitching the start-up ideas. This role-reversal exercise helped students practically understand concepts of valuation, equity, ROI, and funding while simultaneously building confidence and teamwork.
The Communi-Cat and Analytics Clubs merged their distinct focuses in a dynamic, two-round quiz session. The first segment, led by the Analytics Club, was a "Critical Thinking Challenge" that presented problems requiring deep logical reasoning, pattern identification, and deduction. The second round, managed by Communicat, shifted to "General Knowledge & Trick Questions," focusing on quick recall, lateral thinking, and creative problem-solving under pressure.
The SMPR and Marketing Clubs held an analytical session centered on a series of iconic marketing advertisements. The objective was to analyze how impactful advertising shapes consumer perception and builds brand associations. Featured campaigns, such as Vodafone’s IPL ZooZoo series and Five Star’s commercials, served as case studies. Following the screening, participants engaged in a group discussion, evaluating the campaigns' effectiveness and how the ads influenced their personal buying behavior and brand recall.
Overall, the collaborative club activities successfully combined diverse academic disciplines in an experiential learning format. Across all four collaborations, the focus remained on enhancing not only subject-specific knowledge but also vital soft skills such as teamwork, strategic thinking, adaptability, and articulate communication, thereby contributing to the students' holistic professional development.
