Designed to challenge the brightest young minds in finance, business, and economics, the fest brought together students from diverse academic backgrounds to compete, learn, and grow. The event aimed to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world applications through a blend of simulation-based, analytical, and creative activities. The inaugural ceremony set an energetic tone for the day, featuring enthusiastic introductions, welcoming remarks, and a surge of competitive excitement. Throughout the fest, participants showcased teamwork, quick thinking, and leadership, embodying the true spirit of Christ’s academic excellence and creativity-driven learning.

2. Dalaal Street – Simulating the Stock Market Rush

Curated by Supreet and Abin, Dalaal Street replicated the thrill of the Bombay Stock Exchange through a fast-paced simulation of stock trading. Each team started with equal virtual capital and faced multiple trading rounds influenced by news flashes, company events, and unpredictable market conditions. The event tested participants’ financial instincts, decision-making under pressure, and adaptability to changing market dynamics. Teams bought and sold shares, speculated strategically, and aimed to build the most valuable portfolio by the end. The excitement and tension in the trading hall mirrored a real-world trading floor, offering participants a glimpse into the volatile world of investments and market psychology.

3. Boardroom Battle & Fintopia – The Power of Ideas and Imagination

Anuska’s Boardroom Battle combined intellectual debate with corporate crisis management. Participants engaged in Oxford-style debates on business philosophies before stepping into simulated boardrooms as CEOs, CFOs, and COOs. They crafted product pitches, tackled financial crises, and defended strategic decisions with logic and wit. Sathvigha’s Fintopia (Think Hypothetically) transported participants into imaginative worlds where economic rules were reinvented. Teams built fictional economies grounded in realistic financial principles, merging creativity with analytical reasoning. Both events rewarded originality, composure, and conceptual depth—reminding participants that the future of business lies in both vision and adaptability.

4. Ledger Legends & The Error Hunt – The Accountant’s Arena

Aravind’s Ledger Legends brought accounting to life with fast-paced quiz formats on Kahoot and intense buzzer rounds. Participants battled to demonstrate their mastery of financial statements, auditing principles, and cost analysis under time constraints. In parallel, Vikram’s Error Hunt tested attention to detail and accuracy. Teams scrutinized financial records filled with intentional errors, identifying inconsistencies and correcting them with precision. These two events emphasized analytical rigor, time management, and the critical role of accuracy in the world of commerce.


5. Commerce Clash – Creativity Meets Business Sense

Conceived by Nimmy and Shruthika, Commerce Clash fused creativity with analytical intelligence. Across three engaging rounds—Accounting Tambola, Logo Redesign, and Business Case Study—participants showcased their versatility. From decoding accounting clues to redesigning iconic logos and solving real business challenges, the teams demonstrated exceptional teamwork and innovation. The event’s final round, a case study analysis, highlighted problem-solving, financial reasoning, and presentation excellence.

In conclusion, COMCLAVE 2025 was not just a competition—it was an experience that celebrated intellect, imagination, and integrity. The event concluded with a grand felicitation ceremony honoring winners and participants alike, leaving behind a legacy of learning, collaboration, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
