Blossoms 2020 an interdepartmental competition, organized by the Student welfare office of Christ (Deemed to be University, Lavasa campus ( The Analytics Hub) began the fun filled journey from the month of April and spanned over 3 months with a wide range of over 20 events which were conducted online to entertain and keep students engaged during the country lockdown. It was a grand success by the active participation of students across every department. Students were competing into 4 clusters namely Raag (BBA A& BBA B) EKYA (BBA C& BCOM) CONSENSIO (BSc, MSc and MBA) and NOMOS HARMONIA (LLB) . The events were designed to bring out the creativity in each student, this helped them to discover more about their hidden talents.

After 3 months of non-stop entertainment Blossoms 2020 valedictory function happened online through the Webex platform. Valedictory Ceremony saw participation from faculties and students of all the courses.  The online function began with the address of Fr Jossy P George (Director), His message for the participants was “ Suzy Kasem said, Every flower blooms at a different pace I say – every student has a different talent which allows him/her to bloom. Blossoms 2020 – created memorable moments for us all.You have shown the true Christite spirit – at different regions yet together in your clusters – you made Blossoms 2020 happen in spite of COVID 19. At CHRIST, we offer a platform to showcase talent – which helps you to Blossom. There is vast potential in all you young students, explore your potential to bloom during these years in college – this time will never come back. Sometimes , participating is more about enjoying doing things together and in the process you discover your hidden talent. Take pride in the talent you have and let it be seen by all.Talent nurtured will help you bloom. Next academic year, your juniors will come in, it is your responsibility – motivate them, encourage them to come out and explore their potential. We would like to see to see lot more enthusiasm and participation in the next Blossoms. So, keep blooming and honing your talents for the next Blossoms.”

After the address, winners of all the events were duly acknowledged and was announced. At the end of a neck to neck competition Nomos Harmonia emerged as the winners of the event taking the trophy making Consensio, the runners up. Students thanked the Student Welfare Office of Christ (Deemed to be University, Lavasa campus ( The Analytics Hub) for hosting Blossoms and encouraging them to bring out their talents during the quarantine period. Christites of Lavasa campus proved that nothing can keep them apart from participating in collage events.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATA SCIENCE, COMPUTATION AND SECURITY - IDSCS’22

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM.
