An innovative Gamification Training program 'BL Pundit Gamification' was conducted by Mr Puneet Maheshwari , Co-Partner,  Business Learning , Analytics Edge Consultants Pvt Ltd (‘Seller’),  pioneered by Transcendi - an International Consulting firm, headquartered in Scotland (United Kingdom) on 27 th  and 28 th  September 2019 at CIM, Lavasa. Business Simulation Game is a technology driven educational tool that complements management courses and training programs across the B-schools. Business simulations are hands-on learning tools that involve competition between teams/participants. Inauguration Of The Economic Club

The Economic Club, Department of Law and Economics , CHRIST, Lavasa , was inaugurated on 27 th September 2019 in the Smart Room , Central Block at 2.30 PM. The speaker on this occasion was Dr K S Hari , Assistant Professor and Post-Doctoral Fellow from London School of Economics and Political Science. He has done M.Phil. in Applied Economics and Ph.D. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (at the Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram). He did M.A. in Development Economics from the University of Calicut (at Dr John Matthai Centre, Thrissur). His area of specialization is development economics and public economics. A series of guest lectures were given by  Adv. Vismay Shroff, Adv. Kevin Tauro and Adv. Shwetha Bidhuri, Head (South Asia) for Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), Singapore at School of Law, CHRIST, Lavasa on Tuesday, 24 th September 2019 on Arbitration: An Efficient Dispute Resolution Mechanism , in the Smart Room, Central Block. A placement preparation program was conducted on Monday, 23 rd  September 2019 followed by a mock interview by Ms Sakshi Saini and Ms Charu Srivastav in the Conference Hall, Management Block, Lavasa for MBA students. Ms Sakshi Sahni is a Dale Carnegie Trained professional with expertise in training and development, drama based facilitator (Theatre Resource) and VICT (Master Trainer). With a decade long corporate HR and training experience in IT, staffing, foreign exchange  and education sectors, Ms Sakshi, is an articulate communicator and has effectively interacted with diverse people at varied levels. She is adept in spearheading behavioral development of participants as she has conducted training programs on business communication, etiquette, team building, time management and goal setting skills. Moot Court Society for Department of Law, CHRIST, (Deemed to be University), Lavasa was formally inaugurated on 23 rd  September 2019. The inaugural ceremony took place in the Auditorium, Central Block. It was a proud moment for School of Law as the day is important in everyone’s life and it will define their career path and help them navigate successfully to reach their destination. The Intra Collegiate Management Fest (intra campus) – Xllenz 2K19 was conducted on 20 th  and 21 st  September 2019 at CIML, Lavasa. It is a precursor to the management festival, XUBRENZ. The various business-related events were conducted between four clans namely Knights, Samurias, Spartans and Vikings. The organizing team comprising of MBA students from the Department of Management Studies, Christ University, Bangalore, conducted the events flawlessly. The event began when Director and Dean, Fr Jossy George unveiled the logo amidst loud cheer. He was appreciative of an excellent collaboration by MBA students from Christ University, Bangalore. A workshop on `Opportunities in Data World’ was conducted by Department of Data Science, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa on 20 th  September 2019 in the Smart Room from 11:15 AM to 04:00 PM. The resource persons were Mr. K Sridharan (CEO - CleverInsight) and Mr. Robin (CTO - CleverInsight). The interactive workshop was attended by I-Sem, B Sc (DS), M Sc (DS) and MA (Economics) students. Mr Kothandaraman Sridharan is an IT veteran who has co-founded BFL Software -  Mphasis , which is currently owned by HP. He began his career in Wipro and headed its Customer Support organization.
