CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus

The 5K marathon was organized by the Department of Data Science in ode to celebrate Earth Day on 14th May 2022 at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, under the guidance of Dr Ravikiran Naik as Assistant Professor in Economics in the Department of Data Science.  The event began with an address and ribbon cutting by Dr Fr Jossy P George, Dean & Director of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. The address was brief and galvanizing for the runners assembled. The event marked the anniversary of the birth of the Modern Environment in 1970. It was an attempt to encourage people to drive transformational change, a measure to find creative solutions to reduce environmental hazards. The registration was opened x days prior to the event, through google forms sent in emails. The route was University Emblem- SBI Road-Portofino-Dasve Dam-Event Street- University Emblem.
