A symposium titled Innovation in "Emerging Business Technologies" – 2022 was organized on 17th June 2022 at CHRIST(Deemed to be U niversity), Pune Lavasa Campus. The special speakers for the event were Mr Girish Khilari, Mr Jitesh Lalwani, Mr Prashant Joshi & Prof Amlan Chakrabarti. The symposium had a total of 70 students in attendance. Ronit Roy, Vitish J, Shivahari and Dennis Varghese were the hosts of the event. Vitish J gave the welcoming remarks, and Ronit and Dennis introduced the speakers. The symposium began with an enlightening address by Reverend Dr Fr Jossy P George. Then the guests were felicitated by Father and Dr Becky M Thomas [HOD, MBA]. The annual CHRIST MAD ADs Competition 2022 was launched on 6th June 2022, with registrations open for all marketing students at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. The competition was part of the Marketing club activity, encouraging students to bring out their funny side and creativity through AD making. Four groups submitted their entries with five or six participants each. The valedictory was held on 17th June 2022, and the winning entries will be part of CHRIST Lavasa Social media posts. Creating content digitally is never a bore, and opportunities to grow oneself never fall short when studying at Christ Institute of Management, Lavasa. The finance club activity was organized by the finance club of the MBA department on 3rd June 2022 at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. The event was titled Divertissement. The event was intended to enhance the understanding of the students regarding the Finance Domain knowledge. The event had a total of 21 students in attendance. Anamika Tripathi and Ajinkya Duragkar were the hosts for the event. The event's welcome address was given by Ajinkya Duragkar. The event had 4 rounds namely Be creative, Fin Quiz, Extempore and Cross the Word respectively. There were 4 teams having 5 students each. The first round was named Be Creative because students were asked to animate or draw a particular finance term without lip-syncs and without drawing any alphabet. A Finance knowledge competition was organized by the finance club of the MBA department on 10th June 2022 at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. The Competition was titled FIN EXTEMPORE. The event intended to test students’ finance knowledge, business acumen and certain soft skills clubbed with the ability to coordinate and cooperate with different specialization students. It was expected that the competition would help the students in developing a deep understanding of financial markets and concepts related to the domain. Against this context, the workshop aimed to impart knowledge of econometric models and techniques that facilitate empirical research in the domain of economics and finance.
