CHRIST UNIVERSITY MAD ADS COMPETITION 2022
The annual CHRIST MAD ADs Competition 2022 was launched on 6th June 2022, with registrations open for all marketing students at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. The competition was part of the Marketing club activity, encouraging students to bring out their funny side and creativity through AD making. Four groups submitted their entries with five or six participants each. The valedictory was held on 17th June 2022, and the winning entries will be part of CHRIST Lavasa Social media posts.
Creating content digitally is never a bore, and opportunities to grow oneself never fall short when studying at Christ Institute of Management, Lavasa. "Mad Ad" competition required students to come up with video ads of the product chosen by them from the given options (Khujli gel, Zing Cola, Pepsored toothpaste, Full-on mattress, Royal Build motorcycle). Being true to the Christite spirit, students showed their zeal to participate. The motive of the event was successfully fulfilled, as each of the team's participation was unique in its ways. They were entertaining, catchy and humorous. The event got submissions for an energy drink, scratch gel, dating site, and FMCG product (salt) category. The valedictory was held on 17th June 2022 from 12.30 to 2 as a club activity. Each team made a presentation and showed their Ad. The winning team was group 4, comprising Aditya Pillai, Gurtej Pental, Rikin Renny, Geraldin Renisha, and Rishav Paul.
Mad Ads Rules
MAD-ADS is a creative event to judge the participants' knowledge in preparing an advertisement for the proposed product.
- Teams would be required to formulate a catch line for the proposed product.
- Different forms of expression like short skits, jingles, slogans or any other innovative form can be incorporated.
Rules and Regulations
- Mad-ads is not an individual event; a team should comprise a minimum of four members and a maximum of 5 members.
- The competition will end on 15th June 2022. All teams are required to upload the same in the drive link shared in the mail
- The advertisement may be in English or Hindi Language.
- Caution should be taken to refrain from displaying obscenity, violence, prejudice, defamation etc. in advertisements.
- Each advertisement should not exceed the time limit of 2 minutes. In case any team exceeds the time limit, it will be disqualified.
- The decision of the Judges will be final and binding.
