SYMPOSIUM ON INNOVATION IN "EMERGING BUSINESS TECHNOLOGIES" – 2022
A symposium titled Innovation in "Emerging Business Technologies" – 2022 was organized on 17th June 2022 at CHRIST(Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. The special speakers for the event were Mr Girish Khilari, Mr Jitesh Lalwani, Mr Prashant Joshi & Prof Amlan Chakrabarti. The symposium had a total of 70 students in attendance. Ronit Roy, Vitish J, Shivahari and Dennis Varghese were the hosts of the event. Vitish J gave the welcoming remarks, and Ronit and Dennis introduced the speakers.
The symposium began with an enlightening address by Reverend Dr Fr Jossy P George. Then the guests were felicitated by Father and Dr Becky M Thomas [HOD, MBA].
The event's first speaker was Mr Girish Khilari, CTO & Director of Elliot Systems. Girish sir talked about topics like Industrial 4.0 trends, its challenges, and its future. He also highlighted the trends, benefits, and challenges of Industrial IoT. The next speaker of the event was Mr Jitesh Lalwani, Founder & CEO of Artificial Brain. He spoke about topics like Location optimization using quantum computing, Satellite placement optimization, and Billboard location optimization.
The next two speakers joined the symposium via a Zoom call. The next speaker was Mr Prashant Joshi, CEO of Leap & Scale. He talked about innovation in an inter-disciplinary business world. The last speaker for the symposium was Prof Amlan Chakrabarti, Head of Innovation Cell (West Bengal government). He talked about quantum computers, challenges associated with quantum computers and market barriers to quantum computers. He also spoke about quantum logic circuits.
The vote of thanks was given by Shivahari who thanked all the speakers for their efforts, valuable time, and, most significantly, for coming to give this talk to the students. The session was very informative and highlighted the recent industry developments in Quantum Computing, Machine monitoring and Analytics.
