Mr Amit Nagpal, the author of the book “The elephant at the dinner table” visited the campus and it was the first offline event on the campus after the pandemic. The Inauguration of Readers Arena: Carpe Librum was conducted on 05th March 2022 at Central block Auditorium of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus There was great enthusiasm among the students to attend the event. The event started at 12:30 PM and Director Dr Fr Jossy P George gave an introductory remark on the significance of the Club and about the book authored by Mr Amit Nagpal. He encouraged the students to inculcate their reading habits and visit the library regularly. Mr Emmanuel David, Former head of Tata Management and Training Centre, Pune and Adjunct Professor of National Institute of Advanced Studies, Indian Institute of Science Campus, Bengaluru - 560 012, India delivered the talk to students and faculty members.
