The valedictory ceremony of CIMA for the academic year 2021-22 was conducted on 21st January 2022 at 2:30 PM in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. It started with a welcome speech by Ms Sabari Majumder. The event was attended by almost 125 students. She invited Reverend Fr Dr Jossy P George, Director & Dean, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa campus, to address the gathering. He appreciated the students’ efforts and motivated them to work hard. with his thoughtful and motivating words. It was followed by a recap video that highlighted all the activities conducted around the year. Then the coordinators conducted a game where the students were divided into different breakout sessions. After this, students showcased their talents like singing, dancing etc. Dr Jayant Mahajan distributed the certificates to the winners of the Sports Fest, followed by the most awaited moment of the ceremony - Dr Richa announcing the Samurai clan as the winners of CIMA (2021-

The Sapientia MUN’22 was conducted by the School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy on the 7th January 2022 and 8th January 2022, on the Zoom online platform at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. The event commenced with an opening speech given by Aniket Sharma, the presiding Secretary General of the MUN during which the MUN was declared open. The event ran for two days from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There were two committees-United Nations. Security Council (UNSC) and All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM). Both the committees were presided by the very capable Executive Board who ensured the delegates remained interested and enthusiastic. The UNSC had 8 participants and AIPPM had 18 participants. The agendas discussed were “Discussions on the Implementation of Uniform Civil Code, keeping in view the observations made by the Honorable Supreme Court” in AIPPM and “Addressing the Proliferation of Armed Militias in Destabilized Countries” in the UNSC Committee. A workshop on Careers in Teaching/Research/JRF UGC NET/SET was organized by the School of Business and Management (MBA) on 18th December 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.  A total of 31 Masters' level students participated in the event including students from all MBA specialisations. The resource speaker was Prof Stanny Dias. The workshop was divided into 3 components where the speaker first spoke about careers in teaching and research. Details on a research fellowship and stipend were shared with the students if they opt for a full-time PhD. The next component was about what is UGC NET and its details in terms of eligibility, exam pattern. A clear understanding between the UGC NET asst professor and JRF was made known to the students.
