Placement Preparation Program




A placement preparation program was conducted on Monday, 23rd September 2019 followed by a mock interview by Ms Sakshi Saini and Ms Charu Srivastav in the Conference Hall, Management Block, Lavasa for MBA students.

Ms Sakshi Sahni is a Dale Carnegie Trained professional with expertise in training and development, drama based facilitator (Theatre Resource) and VICT (Master Trainer). With a decade long corporate HR and training experience in IT, staffing, foreign exchange  and education sectors, Ms Sakshi, is an articulate communicator and has effectively interacted with diverse people at varied levels. She is adept in spearheading behavioral development of participants as she has conducted training programs on business communication, etiquette, team building, time management and goal setting skills.

She was able to recognize the creative potential of each individual and responded well to all queries in a spontaneous manner. She was able to set them at ease and nurtured self confidence in students by her candid and personalized feedback. Ms Sakshi convincingly offered solutions which were oriented towards preparing them for the placement interviews. Her efficient and customized training solutions as per individual need and talent were received very well by the students.

She encouraged the MBA aspirants to polish their personal and behavioral persona by focusing on communication skills, personality development, team building and take an active part in group discussions. Ms Sakshi also informed them to be focused and dedicated in pursuit of their dream job.

Ms Charu Srivastav, Founder, CS training solutions, behavioural coach and image consultant (Nabet Certified) also interacted with the students. She has 14 years of experience in process management and stabilization, team management, training and mentoring. Ms Charu also has 15 years of work experience in domains like finance, insurance and operations within shared service centres, BPOs and call centres. She has worked with Maersk Tankers (India Operations), Aegis (Essar group), Prudential Insurance, Capita Operations and CSC, Noida.

A brief interaction with Ms Charu made the students feel that she has the potential to help people becoming the best version of themselves. The main mission was to create awareness and impart knowledge and support to students build their passion into profession for greater success in life. She was highly motivational and the students were instantly impressed by her unique style while solely focussed on nurturing key skills such as positive thinking and team management. Ms Charu emphasized upon the importance of presentation and public speaking in order to make a lasting impact.

She also mentioned that with proper training and mentoring any student can get operation excellence and leave a good impression at the time of an interview. In order to achieve the target the students have to be well versed with functional competencies and ought to know the intricacies of proper training, process improvisation and have analytical skills to understand what is expected from them during a placement interview. In all the mock interview was quite fruitful and instilled confidence in the students as they are being prepared for placements in a few months. The mock interview was coordinated by CRM, JK Pandey.
