Director's Note - Webinar on Timeless Management Principles of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

We are gathered together today in honour of a great king. Tomorrow, 19th February marks the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and to commemorate the memory of this visionary leader we have with us Mr. Shivaprasad Mantri to enlighten us on his management practices that continue to be of much relevance, even today. 

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was a distinguished leader in so many ways. Besides his brave and courageous feats as a warrior king, he was also a benevolent and tolerant ruler. His accomplishments in terms of warfare, administration and nation building were truly exemplary. His thinking and far sightedness allows for us to regard him and his principles in the context of management practices as well, and we have much to learn from him. I appreciate CIMA for taking up this initiative and hope all of you will gain much insight and knowledge from this webinar.

My heartfelt thanks to Mr. Shivaprasad Mantri for agreeing to address our students today. Let the ideals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj inspire each and every one of you present here today.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. Dr Samiksha Shukla welcomed the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Vice-Chancellor and the keynote speakers for the day and summarized forthcoming events of IDSCS'22.
