The Two-Day Quality Improvement Program (QIP) on Case Teaching and Writing, organized by the School of Business and Management of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Pune Lavasa Campus, was successfully conducted on 28th Jun 2023 and 30th Jun 2023. The program aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of faculty members in the areas of case teaching and writing, which are crucial aspects of business education and research. Dr. Amarpreet K. Ghura, a distinguished expert, served as the resource person for the program.

Inauguration Ceremony: The program commenced with an inaugural ceremony held in the Smart Room, Central Block. Dr. Lijo Thomas, Director and Dean of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Pune Lavasa Campus, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The ceremony began with a warm welcome address, highlighting the importance of case teaching and writing in contemporary business education. Dr. Lijo Thomas emphasized the need for innovative pedagogical approaches to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.

Program Content and Activities: The Two-Day QIP comprised a comprehensive range of sessions, workshops, and interactive activities, designed to equip faculty members with effective case teaching and writing techniques. Dr. Amarpreet K. Ghura led the program with his wealth of expertise and experience in the field. The sessions were structured to cover various key aspects, including case development, teaching methodologies, analysis techniques, and assessment strategies.

Participants actively engaged in lively discussions, sharing their experiences and insights related to case teaching and writing. Dr. Ghura's interactive teaching approach encouraged participants to delve deeper into the nuances of case-based instruction and explore innovative ways to engage students in the learning process. The sessions were designed to be highly participatory, allowing ample opportunities for reflection and peer-to-peer learning.

The workshops provided practical guidance on structuring cases, facilitating classroom discussions, and utilizing various teaching aids. Through hands-on activities and group exercises, participants had the opportunity to develop their own case studies, analyze existing cases, and receive feedback from both Dr. Ghura and their peers. The workshops fostered a collaborative environment, stimulating the exchange of ideas and the exploration of diverse teaching methodologies.

Google Classroom Engagement: To facilitate seamless communication and resource sharing, a dedicated Google Classroom was created for the QIP. Participants were invited to join the online platform, where they accessed relevant resources, engaged in discussions, and received updates related to the program. The Google Classroom proved to be an invaluable tool for ongoing learning and collaboration, enabling participants to extend their engagement beyond the program's duration.
