CIP Experience
Jessy Sini
Dass is undergoing her CIP from M/s Continental in the field of HR,
and her CIP began with an orientation session in the first week. After being introduced
to marketing head she was asked about her aim. She has been given a project on
training and development. Jessy feels that it is worth going and it offers a
great learning experience. She hopes to meet their expectations and also of her
mentor in college.
Mariyam Christeena goes to Coco
Cola factory in Pirangut. She is completely satisfied with her CIP and her mentor,
quality assurance department head is extremely cooperative. She has been
briefed about the work culture of the department. Mariyam has decided to learn
about the quality assurance management system of Coco Cola. She is well versed
with the basic rules regarding safety measures and is highly impressed by the
QA lab. Mariyam is very happy and pleased with the company and the ambience.
At L&T Varun Chakraborty
has been assigned to work on a market report and design a newsletter. He finds
it as a very creative experience and looks forward to the CIP every week. Despite
no experience in the said field and never worked in an industry before, Varun has
taken it as a challenge to make the most of his weekly visit. He is grateful to
the mentor and the guide for their guidance in handling the project.
Akhil Nair is
excited about his CIP at Bikedoctor. He has made a digital poster regarding the
company’s services to market their products online. He is enthusiastic about
the field work and has been asked to develop contacts and take their opinions
about the company’s services. As a marketing strategy he has to collect data to
generate more leads for their business. Akhil considers it as a new experience
despite being hectic and challenging. He is optimistic that the experience of
meeting new people and handling their expectations will help him in the long
run.
Riya John is
currently doing her CIP at Continental. Her experience began with a session
with finance sector after which she was given a brief account about the
company. It was followed by factory visit and she learnt about the manufacturing
process and they spoke about the overall functioning of the manufacturing unit.
Riya feels that it is a new experience and she is completely satisfied with it.
She appreciates the systematic approach of the company which has given her a
comprehensive exposure to each department of a company from HR or finance to
marketing.
Chaitali Balapure is
doing her CIP at Pune University as a marketing and HR intern. She is working
in close coordination with the academic head on a research paper which is based
on how people with disabilities work in an organization. She considers it as a
great learning experience. She is able to understand various concepts regarding
HR counselling and marketing. Chaitali looks forward to her weekly visit with a
lot of hope and optimism.
CH Vinod
Kumar specializes in Marketing and is undergoing his CIP from Ace
Spicez. His research topic is a study on understanding customer expectations towards Ace Spicez. He thinks that
the internship program has thrown some light on the
commercialization of food industry. Since he has experience of handling his own
business so he is aware of the customers’ expectations. This research is
helping him in understanding a customer’s expectations towards Ace Spicez. In all Vinod thinks that it is worth doing CIP at Ace Spicez.
The weekly CIP visits are being coordinated by CRM, JK Pandey, who makes it a point to visit various companies on every Tuesday.
