INCLUSIVERSE

Prof Avichal Sharma, advocated for the inclusion of special children, conducted a three-day event from June 2nd to June 5th, 2023. The event took place at an Auditorium and aimed to promote the inclusion of special children through various initiatives, with a particular focus on organizing unified sports and youth engagement programs.


The event sought to create an inclusive environment where children with special needs could participate in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Prof Avichal Sharma, known for his expertise in the field, delivered insightful speeches and conducted interactive sessions to raise awareness and educate attendees about the importance of inclusion.

The primary objective of the event was to encourage the participation of our students with special children in sports and engage them with their peers. Unified sports, which bring together individuals with and without disabilities to compete on equal terms, were a significant aspect of the event. The program aimed to break barriers and foster understanding, acceptance, and teamwork among all participants.

In addition to the sports activities, various youth engagement programs to be organized to provide special children with opportunities for personal development and self-expression.

The Inclusiverse event organized at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa has paved the way for a promising future in organizing unified sports and activities for special children. With the growing number of volunteers, the future prospects for unified sports and activities for special children are bright. They can contribute to the establishment and expansion of unified sports programs that bring together individuals with and without disabilities to participate in sports and recreational activities together. These programs can offer a wider range of activities, catering to the unique needs and abilities of special children.


Collaborations with special schools and organizations focused on supporting special children will play a significant role in shaping the future of unified sports and activities. By working closely with these institutions, volunteers can design inclusive programs, adapt activities to suit different abilities, and provide ongoing support to special children.
