An Introduction to Arbitration proceedings by Adv. Vikram Kamath

The School of Law, Christ Deemed to be University organized an online seminar with Adv. Vikram Kamath addressing the students on arbitration proceedings. Adv. Kamath is an Associate at Legasis Partners, Advocates & Solicitors, which is a leading law firm in Mumbai. He explained the basic objective of arbitration which is to obtain a fair resolution of disputes by an impartial third party. It is a popular method of dispute resolution since there is no unnecessary expense or delay. Parties are free to agree how their disputes should be resolved. Adv. Kamath explained that arbitration is a private process where contesting parties agree that one or several individuals could make a decision about resolving the dispute. He explained in details the entire process of arbitration and the advantaged it has over the tradition litigation methods to solve disputes.

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM.
