Food Kit Distribution at Boini Village, Lavasa Pune

Remembering the words of Oscar Wilde," The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention." Looking out for the community's people and taking a step beyond Christ (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus took the initiative to feed the hungry, especially in this challenging pandemic.

The greatest of all virtues is to feed the hungry. A program aimed at the distribution of Food Kit at Boini Village, Lavasa, Pune was conducted. Pandemics are characterized by their severe negative impact on the global economy. COVID-19 has been shown to influence the whole food supply chain, from the field to the consumer, in one of the most vital areas of the economy. There is currently great worry regarding food production, processing, distribution, and demand in light of recent difficulties in the food supply chain. Workers' mobility limitations, changes in consumer demand, the closure of food production facilities, limited food trade regulations, and financial constraints in the food supply chain resulted from COVID-19. This was a program aimed to distribute free food packs to the poor and needy.
