INAUGURATION OF ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES of the School of Business & Management and School of Commerce, Finance & Accountancy

Leadership is a quality, which is entitled to be present in every individual, but tends to hide behind the fear of stress for a few.

CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa is happy to announce the office bearers for the year 2020-21. The students coming from all across the country, try their best to excel in each field offered by the university.


The event started with the invocation dance performed by Suruchi Kumari and Vasudha Chaubey. The welcome address given by the Head of the Department of Commerce & Management, Ms. Shubhashree Acharya was very encouraging for all the students. Followed by the Academic Coordinator, Dr. Fr Arun Antony left a sense of zeal to participate in all the opportunities coming our way in the future.

Mr. Suman Gandham, the guest speaker, addressed students with the concepts of networking which would help us improve our skills in different segments of the business and financial world.

The speech was followed by the announcement of the Office Bearers of the vaious clubs by the Emcee Prisha Telang (3BBA A).

The announcement was followed by a short clip, showcasing all the activities held by the Commerce and Management Association in the year 2020 were witnessed. Events such as Inspira ‘20, Verve ‘20, Ignite ‘19 and the National Conference were held and had an active participation across all the classes. Welcoming the new batch of 2020, some engaging activities were held with respective to the department. The overall winners of the activities was BCOM A and the runners-up was bagged by BBA B.


The heart-warming vote of thanks was given by Ms. Briji Jose, BBA Program Coordinator. Concluding the inauguration was The University Anthem. The amount of work put in to make the event a success could be well observed and acknowledged by all the faculty members.

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATA SCIENCE, COMPUTATION AND SECURITY - IDSCS’22

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
