Director's Message - XLLENZ 2020

Good afternoon and a warm welcome to you all! I would like to commence my address today with a quote, the source of which is unknown but this quote carries the essence of what Xllenz and CIMA events should mean to you as students. It goes -

“Remember why you started”

In the middle of assignments, CIAs and academics, Xllenz will surely be a breath of fresh air; an opportunity to break away from the monotony of academics, and an opportunity to create enriching experiences in your student life. But beyond this, I hope the fest will remind each one of you your reason and motivation behind taking up the course. Not just based on academics and the classroom experience that you engage with on a daily basis, but on the basis of challenging events that will prepare you for the corporate world outside your classroom. Xllenz offers a variety of events relating to HR, Finance, Operations, Management and so on. I strongly urge all of you to participate in a bid to discover and develop your skillset in an area that is best suited to your interest. It will provide you with an understanding and a unique insight into what is expected of you as an HR personnel, or a Finance manager or as part of a CSR team.

I would like to extend my appreciation to the HoD, Dr. Binu Paul, and faculty coordinators Mr. Jobin and Ms. Akshaya of Lavasa campus for their efforts at organizing and coordinating the event. A special mention to all the coordinators from Bangalore campus as well. All your tireless efforts deserve much praise!

Through the course of Xllenz, I hope all of you will find a reason to remember why you decided to be a part of the course that you are, and also utilize this opportunity to build upon your excellence. All the very best to all the students!

- Dr. Fr. Jossy P George
