GLIMPSES FROM CHRI-ZZER INTERNATIONAL QUIZ 2020

Chri-Zzer 2020- International Quiz organized by The School of Business and Management and The School of Commerce Finance and Accounting




CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus - The Hub of Analytics in collaboration with CHRIST(Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus organized an International quiz competition for School Students (9th - 12th grade) . The Mega event saw the participation of Quizzers from across the country and abroad competing for the grand FIRST PRIZE of INR 100000/- and a SECOND PRIZE of INR 50000/- The event started on 23 November with a grand inauguration welcoming all the participants to the quiz and giving them a brief of the rounds to be conducted. The preliminary rounds continued for the next six days culminating with the mega finale hosted by the Grandmaster Dr. G. S. Pradeep. Dr. Pradeep is the recipient of numerous awards, with India Today magazine naming him as one of the top 10 great media men of Kerala from the last 20 years. The Asian Television Organization has also awarded him with the title of Most Influential Asian Television Personality of 2009.





Preliminary round 1 was conducted on the WebEx platform and the students were divided into batches where each batch was given 30 questions and responses were recorded on the Chat Box. Preliminary round 2 had two sub rounds an Audio round and a Test round. The rounds were conducted in the University LMS platform. Preliminary round 3 was a QUIZ MASTER round conducted Mr. Jerush John with interesting picture and connect rounds which became the deciding factor in choosing our final 6 Contenders. After 3 rounds of preliminary quizzing which had multiple sub rounds in many forms beginning from 23 November, we had 6 contenders for the title of Chri-Zzer 2020. 


On 28 November 2020 the 6 contenders battled it out in a mind gripping live quizzing session of 2 hours hosted by Grandmaster Dr. G.S Pradeep. The mega finale had six rounds, starting with the audio visual round and as the rounds progressed the quiz master even give autonomy for the participants to choose the subject and asked extempore questions which was a new experience for everyone. After a consistent and astonishing performance, Dhyan Vyas from National Public School, bagged the first prize and Raghav Kapoor from Mount St. Mary’s School bagged the second prize. Chri-Zzer 2020 will always be remembered as a landmark in the history of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Lavasa.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATA SCIENCE, COMPUTATION AND SECURITY - IDSCS’22

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. Dr Samiksha Shukla welcomed the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Vice-Chancellor and the keynote speakers for the day and summarized forthcoming events of IDSCS'22.
