Run for Youth


The "Run for Youth" marathon, organized by the Department of Commerce at Christ (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, was successfully held on January 12, 2025, in celebration of National Youth Day. This 3 KM marathon aimed to promote fitness, youth engagement, and a sense of community among students and participants. The event commenced at 6:30 AM at the Management Block, bringing together a diverse group of enthusiastic runners for an energetic and competitive race.

National Youth Day, observed annually on January 12th, marks the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a visionary leader who championed youth empowerment, discipline, and holistic well-being. His teachings emphasized the importance of physical fitness, mental resilience, and the pursuit of excellence. The marathon embodied these ideals by encouraging students and participants to adopt an active lifestyle, reinforcing the significance of maintaining physical and mental well-being in today's fast-paced world. With academic and professional commitments often taking precedence, the event served as a reminder of the importance of prioritizing health and fitness.
