A guest talk aptly entitled `Let's Huddle on Data’ was organized by Department of Data Science, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa, Pune on 19th September 2019 in the Smart Room from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. It was efficiently facilitated by Mr. K Sridharan (CEO - CleverInsight) and Mr. Robin (CTO - CleverInsight). Mock interview plays an important role for a management student as it provides candidates with an opportunity to test their interview skills with someone who isn’t evaluating them for an actual job. As part of an initiative by CSA (Center for Social Action), students of CHRIST, Lavasa, took part in an event wherein they expressed their views on cleanliness and water conservation. It took place in the cafeteria, Central Block during lunch break on 9th September 2019.  The theme focused on general cleanliness in and around the campus, practising ways to keep the surrounding and environment neat and clean and maintenance of good habits. The students also ensured that people foster clean habits as part of their lifestyle. Regarding water conservation the chief focus was on conservation of water for present consumption and thereby help to solve water scarcity problem in future.  MBA students also expressed their views on the topics. Teacher’s Day was celebrated with a lot of joy at CHRIST, Lavasa on 5 th September 2019. MBA students took out time to cut a cake in honour of their professors in the Management Block. On the other hand, undergraduate, post graduate and Law students assembled in Central Block to celebrate Teacher’s Day to express their gratitude and love for their educators. The event began on a solemn note in the Auditorium with readings from Holy Scriptures followed by choir. Then Academic Coordinator, Dr Fr Arun Antony addressed the students and thanked them for such a noble gesture. He rightly said that teachers are next to God and applauded the tireless academic, administrative and research work being done by the teachers and who are willing to work beyond their comfort zone.
