On the 30th and 31st of January, 2023, the School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy in association with Lotus Knowlwealth Pvt.Ltd. and Bombay Stock Exchange organized an Investor Education Programme for all 3 batches of BCOM FA students. The sessions were online sessions conducted on the Zoom platform and covered topics pertaining to Capital Market Awareness, Introduction to Mutual Funds and Financial Planning. There were three separate sessions for each of the three batches; the first- and second-year students had their sessions concurrently on 30th January at 4:30 PM while the final-year students had their session on 31st January at 4:30 PM. On 28th January 2023, the first-year BCOM FA students visited Infosys Limited Pune campus; their first Industrial Visit. The journey started at 6:40 in the morning. T he s tudents reached Infosys Limited’s phase 2 campus located in Hinjewadi, Pune by 8.30 AM. Prior to entrance, students’ COVID 19 Vaccination certificates were verified. Students were given proper instructions regarding the rules and regulations of the organization. After entering the campus, students were given breakfast. By 9 AM , students were moved to the amphitheater. Mr Nithin, the head of the competency development team, gave an introduction about Infosys. He made the session very interactive by adding several fun games like quiz, crazy selfie etc. The winners were given chocolates as a token of appreciation. Session – 1 Primary Research Workshop. The workshop on primary research started with a bright welcome given by the MCs to the audience and the speaker Dr. Benny Godwin J. During this workshop, we thought about how to number the questionnaire and use SPSS to analyse the data we received after the questionnaire. He taught almost 13 different Statistics Techniques such as Mean, Standard Deviation (SD), Factor loadings, Cronbach’s Alpha reliability, KMO, Average Variance Extracted, Correlation, Regression Analysis – Multiple Linear Regression Model, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Structural Equation Model (SEM) using both SPSS and AMOS.
