"BRANDITS" - MOVING ON WITH APLOMB




In continuation with the previous events the degree of commitment has taken "Brandits" to a whole new level! Considering the academic commitments of the students marketing Club has tried to keep the tasks simple although the essence of the event will not be compromised. 


Following are the programed tasks for final round:


Task 5 was titled as BrandMash (Brand Management Skills through Dubsmash). They got an opportunity to brand a product of their own choice! A task where they added creativity to their brand management skills. Adding a zing thing to the ongoing events the marketing students shot a180-200 seconds video advertising a product through Dubsmash. They recorded with precision and expertise. An element of creativity and showbiz helped them to score an edge over the others.


Every business endeavor targets a certain clientele, and good advertising goes a long way in keeping them engrossed. Task 6 was aptly entitled Ad Mad. The Advertising Contest brought forth their creativity. If a Marketing student has the creative bent, power of packaging and presentation, then Ad Mad will definitely challenge the imagination to think big and think new. The main objective of this event is to acquaint the students about the promotional strategies in marketing through advertisements. The event will provide them the perfect platform to discover and display their marketing skills, creative thinking and convincing abilities.


As per the rules at least 6 members should participate in the team. There is no maximum limit. Advertisement should be enacted during the finals and it should be not less than 3 minutes. They may choose a topic of their own choice. The participants shall be judged on the basis of content, adherence to topic, on-stage presentation, coordination, and overall appeal of the advertisement. Every effort ought to be made to refrain from any display of obscenity, violence, prejudice, defamation etc. The decision of the judges will be final and binding. Sheer dedication and hard work was vividly evident in each presentation.
