CEO & CO-FOUNDER, THE MEDIA STREET INTERACTS WITH CHRISTITES



Mr Ashutosh Joshi, CEO & Co-Founder, The Media Street gave a talk on the scope of Communication in Marketing etc to the students of Christ Institute of Management, Lavasa on 17th August 2018. Mr. Joshi holds a degree in Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication along with an interactive course curriculum which has given him exposure and understanding of global, political and economic scenarios. He started his career with Times of India as a correspondent and gained entrepreneurship experience by publishing two issues of his own magazine.





This gave Mr Joshi a lot of exposure in the field of communication and helped him gain a lot of experience in terms of sales, marketing operations. His oratory skills have helped him immensely to carve a niche for himself in this field. He is well versed with current affairs. His talks feature issues pertaining to International Sales and Marketing, Global Coordination/Onsite-Offshore Delivery, Partner Management and Client Relations, Corporate Communication & Media Relations, Sourcing and Deal Negotiations and Service Marketing & Account Management. Collateral and Campaign Management is also his area of expertise. He briefed the students about Strategic Marketing and Business Planning. 


The chief focus of the corporate talk was on creating the content for effective communication specially in the field of advertising. He encouraged the students to find ways and means to connect with the audience. In this context Mr Joshi emphasised on propagating a product through social media, since it has a long lasting impact. He advised the students to formulate impressive marketing strategies because publicity plays an important role and thereby influences marketing to a large extent. He informed the students that 21st century has seen tremendous advancement in entrepreneurial ventures and marketing through e mail is a tried and tested methodology. 




Mr Joshi was highly impressed when Christites asked some pertinent questions to understand the work ethics of the corporate world in relation to communication skills. He was successful in clearing their doubts and pacified their curiosity. Mr Joshi is hopeful of a bright future for CIM, Lavasa graduates as he noticed that they have the acumen and grit and determination to make it big in the industry. At the end of the corporate talk it is expected that some promising students might get a chance to do internship and some promising students might get placement offers from his company.
