Club Inauguration


On 29th September, the students from the MBA department of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), School of Business and Management, organised the inaugural ceremony for MBA Specialization Clubs namely Marketing Monks, Harmoney, Cadre and Business Analytica. Each club was inaugurated, followed by a video showing the activities conducted within the club.

Marketing Club: The Marketing Club “Marketing Monks” was introduced by Ms Naba and Mr Aditya with an introductory video highlighting all the glimpses of the marketing activities conducted by the club one week before and also followed by awarding the winners of the sales competition, which was conducted last year. Students were also awarded Mavericks 2022. Students were awarded for winning the football match in between the inaugural ceremony. 

Finance Club: The Finance Club “Harmoney” was introduced by Mr Shaurya and Ms Lalitha with a small video highlighting finance club activities conducted last year. They also introduced the first finance club activity for the year 2022, “Stock Market Stimulation”. Students were asked for their active participation. 

HR Club:  Mr Rehan and Ms Ananya introduced the " Cadre " program by showing the activities conducted within the HR Club during 2021 through an introductory video. Then, Mr Jose and Ms Richa introduced the HR calendar and podcast, which Mr Sharad Gupta launched. They also provided information about the upcoming club activities: Head Hunters and Acharya Utsav. 

BA club: The BA club was introduced by Mr Hemnath and Ms Priti, along with an introductory video. They updated the students about the upcoming club activities, namely the Excel workshop and Case Study competition. They also introduced the IEEE conference, which will be happening on 13,14 and 15 October 2022.

The gathering was addressed by Fr. Dr Jossy p George who congratulated everyone and encouraged students to participate in the club activities with enthusiasm and zeal. 

After all the clubs were successfully inaugurated, the Instagram page for the MBA department was launched. Students were asked to scan the QR code and follow the page. Students were also requested to come up with content and reels. 

Lastly, A group of students in the second-year - MBA Department, along with the idea of Prof. Stanny Dias and the support of Christ infotech, launched a website named Greenvasa - http://greenvasa.christinfotech.org/ where students get the opportunity to buy and sell the second-hand product at a low price contributing towards sustainable living.

The event was a huge success. Every student was motivated to participate enthusiastically in the club activities and creatively upskill themselves
