ReCAPS, a flagship initiative under the Peer Training Wing of the Centre for Academic and Professional Support (CAPS), continues to be one of the most impactful academic support programs at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. Designed to promote collaborative and experiential learning, ReCAPS provides a platform where students learn with and from each other, fostering both academic excellence and community spirit. The recent cycle of ReCAPS commenced on 15th October 2025 , strategically aligning with the mid-semester examination phase. The initiative was created to assist students through revision-based peer-led sessions, where learning became more approachable, relatable, and enjoyable. Orientation of Rotract Club

The Rotaract Orientation 2025–26 held on 4th October 2025 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm served as an introductory session to familiarize new members of the Rotaract Club of Christ University, Lavasa, with the club’s mission, hierarchy, avenues of service, and ethical framework. The orientation was an engaging and informative event that encouraged interaction, leadership development, and a deeper understanding of the Rotaract movement. It aimed to set the tone for the Rotaract Year (RIY) 2025–26 under Rotary International District 3131, fostering a spirit of community, service, and collaboration among the participants. Breast Cancer Awareness Day

Every October, the world observes Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a campaign dedicated to spreading knowledge, promoting early detection, and breaking the stigma surrounding women’s health. In line with this global initiative, the Centre for Counselling and Health Services (CCHS) at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, hosted an online awareness session on 17th October 2025 as part of its efforts to encourage preventive health awareness among students and staff. The session was facilitated by Dr. Swaroop, the Campus Doctor, who has been an advocate for holistic health and wellness within the university community. FRAME WALK

The Focus photography club, in association with Lavasa Trekkers and the Centre for Digital Learning (CDL), successfully organized an experiential learning event titled “ FrameWalk ” on 18th October 2025 at the stunning Ekaant Sunrise Point. The event was designed to teach participants the basics of photography through trekking, combining physical activity, creative exploration, and technical skill development in a natural outdoor setting. A total of 24 members participated in the event, which aimed to bridge classroom learning with real-world experience. The collaboration with Lavasa Trekkers ensured a safe and engaging trekking route, while CDL provided educational support by guiding participants on the fundamentals of photography and visual storytelling. Data Science, Economics and Analytics, and Computer Applications in collaboration with SDG Cell as part of their academic enrichment program. The Movie Night – Superman (2025) organized by the BBA Insights Newscast Committee (BINC) under the School of Business and Management (BBA) at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, was held on 11th October 2025 at 5:30 PM in the Seminar Hall, Management Block. This engaging initiative was designed as part of BINC’s broader student engagement and community-building activities for the academic year 2025–26. The event brought together 86 students from the BBA department, offering them an opportunity to relax, connect, and participate in a collective cultural experience. The Huntopia Treasure Hunt was an innovative and interactive campus-wide initiative organized by the SDG Cell of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa , with the core objective of promoting awareness and understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through experiential learning. Held on 7th October 2025, the event transformed the Lavasa campus into an adventure-filled arena where students engaged in a dynamic learning experience that blended fun, collaboration, and sustainability education. The event began at the Activity Hub, where participants were briefed on the objectives, rules, and safety measures, as well as the central theme that connected each clue to specific SDGs. The workshop “Storytelling with Clay” conducted with MA English students specializing in Digital Humanities explored the dynamic relationship between narrative and material practice. Moving beyond the boundaries of conventional storytelling through written or spoken language, the session invited participants to experience narrative as an embodied and tactile process. By engaging with clay, students encountered a medium deeply rooted in human history, ritual, and creativity, discovering how stories can emerge through touch, form, and transformation. Facilitated by Dr. Sangeeta Jawla—whose interdisciplinary work brings together folklore, material culture, and Indian pottery traditions—the workshop foregrounded clay as a living archive of cultural memory.
