Report on the Data Science Production of The Little Prince

The Department of Data Science at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, in collaboration with the Data Science Association (DSA), recently staged a unique adaptation of The Little Prince. This production aimed to bridge the worlds of literature, storytelling, and data-driven insights, creating an immersive experience for the audience. The event was inaugurated by our esteemed Dean and Director, Dr. Jibrael Jose, who introduced the play, emphasizing its deeper philosophical themes. He encouraged the audience to engage with the story beyond its surface, urging them to reflect on the lessons embedded within. An Innovative Interpretation This adaptation took a creative turn by featuring four different actors portraying the role of the Little Prince, symbolizing his presence at different stages of the narrative. Christ University, Pune Lavasa campus, in collaboration with IIT Jodhpur and  Amity Institute of English Studies and Research (AIESR) at AUUP organised the 1st International Symposium on “Digital Humanities in the Anthropocene” from January 15 to January 17, 2025.  The event was graced by Prof. Sanjeev Bansal, Additional Pro Vice Chancellor of AUUP-NOIDA, addressed the participants, highlighting the evolution of research and education facilitated by the availability and use of digital resources. Avian Allies stall

On Saturday, January 25, 2025, Avian Allies, the birders' club of Christ Deemed to be University, Pune Lavasa Campus, hosted a vibrant stall as part of the institution’s 10th anniversary celebrations. The event, which began at 5 PM, attracted a diverse group of attendees, including Lavasa residents, Ashiana community members, Christ students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The stall added to the festive atmosphere of the occasion, offering a unique opportunity for the community to engage with nature through creative and interactive activities. It also provided a platform to reach out to the local residents especially the Ashiana community members.
