This FDP is thoughtfully designed to equip faculty members, early-career researchers, and academic professionals with the knowledge, skills, and strategies necessary to conceptualise, draft, and submit competitive research proposals. It aims to foster a strong research culture by guiding participants through every stage of proposal development, from identifying research gaps to preparing polished submissions for reputed funding agencies such as ICSSR, ICHR, DST, UGC, AICTE, DBT, and various international bodies . UNIHIKE Class Trek with 3BBA A

The School of Business & Management (BBA), Christ University, Lavasa, in collaboration with Lavasa Trekkers, organized a class trek for the students of 3 BBA A on 5th September 2025. The activity was designed to combine experiential learning, physical activity, and community building in line with the University’s focus on holistic student development and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being). The students assembled at Steaming Mugs Café at 10:00 AM, where they were briefed about the trek route, expected safety measures, and the importance of outdoor engagement for mental and physical well-being. After the orientation, the group departed for the trek at 11:00 AM, under the guidance of Mr. Tanmay Singh, student coordinator from Lavasa Trekkers, who ensured proper facilitation and safety throughout the event. Rather than presenting mathematics as a purely abstract subject, the workshop aimed to provide participants with direct, tactile experiences that revealed how mathematical ideas are embedded in the everyday world and in timeless philosophical traditions. The journey began with something as familiar as an A4 sheet of paper. Participants were invited to measure its length and breadth, and in doing so, they uncovered the hidden elegance of its proportions. The week-long observance was planned with the purpose of creating awareness about healthy eating habits, clearing up common misconceptions about nutrition, and encouraging students and staff to adopt balanced dietary practices in their everyday lives.
