The Christ University Annual Book Fair 2025 was held on 5th and 6th May at the Quadrangle, Central Block, and Ivy Hall, Management Block, Pune Lavasa Campus. Organized by the Knowledge Resource Centre in association with various campus groups, the fair aimed to promote a reading culture and provide access to a wide range of academic and general books. Six reputed publishers participated, displaying over 7,000 titles across disciplines. The event saw enthusiastic involvement from faculty, students, Lavasa Public School, and local residents. With multilingual offerings, book donations, and interactive stalls, the fair successfully fostered learning, community engagement, and a vibrant academic atmosphere. The Centre for Counselling and Health Services (CCHS) observed World Red Cross Day on 8th May 2025 with a thoughtful and engaging health awareness initiative. The observance focused on promoting health, hygiene, and community values among students while honouring the humanitarian spirit that the day represents. Celebrated annually on the birth anniversary of Henry Dunant, the founder of the International Red Cross and the first recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, the day serves as a reminder of the importance of service, compassion, and care in society. As part of the initiative, the CCHS Health Desk created and circulated a short, student-friendly video. This video shared simple, practical tips on how to stay healthy and maintain physical and mental well-being.
