MARKETING CLUB ACTIVITY

The senior students of Marketing Department conducted a marketing club activity for Juniors on 16th November 2018 in the Conference Hall. It began with a quick recap of the previous event, Brandits under the leadership of Professor Benny, which was successful in a grand way. Everyone unanimously agreed that it paved way for future exciting events.

True to marketing strategy it is absolutely necessary for an executive to be aware of all possible bands available in the market to cater to the demands along with whims and fancies of a customer. The students had to identify the tagline of certain companies. They were provided with the company's name.

Next the students were divided into five groups consisting of one senior student from the marketing department to guide the team. Then they were given a case study which required them to come up with a repositioning strategy for Venice tourism. It was followed by an interesting and informative presentation for seven minutes each which included a question and answer session. The students took part in the activity with a lot of enthusiasm. The competition was won by team Desires and they were suitably rewarded.
