A Grand Finale

As all good things come to an end so the week-long celebration by Brandits came to an end on 22nd February 2019. The event taught them to express feelings of love, admiration, respect and trust towards their fellow beings. It nurtured the feeling of comradeship, acceptance of failure and success. They worked in close collaboration with each other and showed respect towards the opponents. The week long activities brought forth their managerial skills in marketing and negotiation techniques. The entire credit for a mass participation goes to their teacher in charge, Dr Benny Godwin J, who worked in close coordination with all the teams and his sheer energy was visible on and off the campus, as he diligently worked till the wee hours of morning.

It was amazing to observe Mindhunters’ whole hearted contribution and collaboration throughout the event. They followed white color code which represented peace and harmony. They undertook investment lessons for non-teaching staff and fitness training session for CIM and guest students as a tribute to Indian Army, The bows distribution act was an instant success and their skills won laurels in social media marketing. Shadowhunters did not lag behind and followed the dress code and worked hard for their Brand Establishment. The early morning workout was a show stealer.

Spreefirits were highly spirited and worked diligently to show solidarity for their group. They followed yellow and green color code, exhibiting postcards with appropriate emotions. In a unique way they moved around three-legged to express their bond of love which rightly displayed that opposites attract. In an effort to help other team members, they demonstrated free hugs and expressed their heartfelt thanks to students and faculty alike. It was quite inspiring to watch them on a cleaning spree as they cleaned the college premises. While they watered plants they showed their love for environment and their digital marketing activity presented them as propagating for an eco-friendly cause.

As part of the event the students submitted their Power Point Presentation early morning on 22nd February 2019. One of the highlights of the Grand Finale was a ramp walk. 'Wardrobe from Waste to display `Love for Waste' was the theme for this round. It was quite an interactive round and the students took active participation in the event.

The Brandits’ Grand Finale began at 5 PM in Social Science Block Auditorium amidst loud cheer and optimism. Director, Fr Jossy George appreciated the untiring efforts of all the participants. He was pleasantly surprised to see the dedication and passion with which the students took part in all the events. The overall winners were Spreefirits and the runners up were Mindhunters.

The grand success of Brandits 2.0  lay in meticulous coordination, constant vigilance, follow up and catering to minute details. The entire team's hard work facilitated the smooth functioning of the event throughout the week. The mass participation was possible because of constant encouragement and involvement of students and faculty members.

The valedictory ceremony was followed by bonfire and sumptuous dinner and gave a befitting end to a grand event which lasted a week.
