ALERT: DO NOT MISS THESE FESTS AT CHRIST LAVASA!

If anything, college is an exciting time in life. Here, you find friends and make memories you’ll cherish forever. But have you wondered where it all starts? How, when, and what leads to making college unforgettable?

At CHRIST Lavasa, talent is celebrated and memorable relationships are formed during the annual fests. These fests form the very ground for getting to know new people and exploring the true essence of campus life. Choosing the top four is a difficult task, but we took the challenge and zeroed in on these fests you cannot miss out on.

1. DARPAN

Got a talent or just looking forward to exploration within? Darpan is the Intra University fest of CHRIST conducted every odd semester. Ranging from cultural events to just stand-ups, Darpan has something for everyone, making it a perfect place for all to learn, participate and conquer. The whole University feels the presence of extraordinary talent and the rush to meet deadlines.

Some participate to network around campus, while others join to prove themselves and eventually be called the ultimate champions. It is also the golden ticket to enter the University Cultural Team, which is reorganised each year post Darpan.

2. BLOSSOMS
This intradepartmental festival, celebrating talent and harmony amongst departments, is in no way ordinary. Every year all the departments compete against each other to prove themselves the best and worthy of the crown. Blossom is a platform where students work together as a department to win the ultimate race and victory is a moment of pride. It is a nurturing ground for all to explore, identify, polish and experiment with their talent. Spanning three months, Blossoms truly brings out the essence of being Christites and having the fest offline is an incredible feeling.

3. MAGNIFICANT

As the campus gets decked and decorated in the colours of Christmas, the spirit of Christmas comes alive in this celebration of music and carols. Magnificant, a Christmas festival at CHRIST has its own charisma and vibe that remains unmatched. It is a celebration where warmth and joy are spread amongst all.

Just before the University closes for the winter break, all departments and offices of CHRIST Lavasa come together to welcome Christmas with live performances from the Bands of the University and Choir. If you are “the batch”, you might just experience University performances.

4. ETHNIC DAY

Bashah Utsav is what this day is called at the Central campus, but here at Lavasa, Ethnic Day is a cult favourite and a custom. At CHRIST Lavasa, this day is not just a night of good clothes and fantastic music. It is a celebration of the diversity of the College, and by large, it represents the cultural diversity of India.
