Center for Digital Learning (CDL), CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa conducted a Free Webinar on " Talent Acquisition” by Mr Pratyush Nandkeolyar on 16th November 2019 from 4 to 5 PM.

Mr Pratyush is a self-motivated, self-driven creative senior executive with a proven track record in ramping up businesses, creating & optimizing the process. His Talent hunt journey includes multi-geographical and multilingual hiring, creating a consistent recruiting process in a global environment. In his 6 years of experience of heading the Talent Acquisition teams, he has P&L responsibilities. He has led the India, UK, US & APAC staffing team. Pratyush started his career with GenesysCreations as a recruiting lead in 2002. He also worked with Planman Consulting as a Lead Recruiting. In 2005, Pratyush joined Perot Systems, now Dell. He was sole responsible for fulfilling the manpower demand and setting the Infrastructure Practice for Perot Systems, this $1.2 billion transition of business from US to India. In due course he got an opportunity to reinvent the recruiting and hiring practices for Perot System. He partnered with the US recruiting team to align the process globally. In 2007, Pratyush joined Capgemini as Senior Consultant, ERP hiring, he effectively handled the entire ERP hiring by partnering with the stakeholders and redefine the process flow.


The process begins well in advance when an invitation is sent to students and professors of CHRIST, Lavasa along with individuals from colleges which are in and around Pune and the registration process begins upon clicking a link. It is not a time consuming procedure and the interest to be a part of a free webinar benefits a large section of enthusiasts. The one click registration initiates the process and then the participants from different walks of life come online for a live interaction with the subject expert. The free webinar on Talent Acquisition was attended by nearly 330 people. Talent acquisition deals with the process of finding and acquiring skilled human labor for organizational needs and to meet any labor requirement. The Human Resources Department of a company deals with talent acquisition and has set norms to follow, which varies from company to company. It was an interesting topic which catered to corporate sector.


The webinar was highly interactive and successfully connected varied people answering a plethora of questions which were both basic and specific. An e-certificate was provided to the participants at the end of the webinar. The entire process was highly interactive, informative and encouraged people to volunteer for the upcoming free webinar from CHRIST, Lavasa in coordination with CDL.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
