The lecture began on a positive
note when Mr Koshal congratulated the students for being a part of CHRIST,
Lavasa. The entire talk was intertwined with personal anecdotes. He enquired
about the group composition and tried to analyze their mindset. He helped the
students to look beyond the obvious and be well prepared for an interview well
in advance. He related it to a mixture of people in an industry who hail from
various disciplines and work in coordination with each other. Mr Koshal
informed them that an industry deals with customer service orientation and the
right perspective has to be always in focus.
Mr Koshal inspired them to
always strive to be the best out of the rest and addressed students as possible
resources for future. He further added that the students ought to arm
themselves with the right knowledge, and attitude for their professional
career. They have to learn to formulate a strategy and reinvent themselves.
According to Mr Koshal the need
of the hour is to be an edge over others in the world of competition and
deliver quality assurance to those who will hire them. They also have to be
tech savvy to be in sync with the latest trend in the market. He further
elaborated on a serious matter which deals with acceptance of uncertainty in
the present ever changing world. The competition will strive a student to be
par excellence in order to be accepted. Mr Koshal gave real time examples of
Uber, Airbnb, cloud kitchen, Oyo, Shaarktank etc. to drive across his point of view, which were highly
relatable.
He further inspired the young
MBA students to broaden their vision and use technology extensively. Mr Satish
motivated them to be knowledgeable and read beyond measure. He further added
that they must give an edge of practicability to their projects and must begin
to think differently. The lecture was highly interactive and the students
shared their views, dreams, ambitions with the keynote speaker and got valuable
guidance in response to their doubts, thoughts and feelings. The students could
be seen interacting with Mr Koshal during the short break in between the
sessions.
