Sanklap is an important event in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus celebrated annually to recognize and honor the Indian Constitution. The week-long celebration is a platform for people to learn about and appreciate the significance of the Constitution in the country's history and democracy. The event takes place every year, and it is a time for people to come together and celebrate the Constitution's adoption on 26th January 1950. The inaugural ceremony of the event was scheduled to take place on 21st November, and it was held at the central block auditorium. The inauguration ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp, a traditional Indian practice that symbolizes the eradication of darkness and the beginning of a new era. After that, the ceremony guest addressed the attendees and emphasized the importance of the Constitution. This was followed by a theatre play that was aimed at educating people about the Constitution's values and principles. During the week-long event, there were various cultural celebrations that took place at an open stage in the central block. These celebrations were designed to showcase the week-long event's commencement and encourage people to participate actively. The cultural celebrations included dance performances, music, and a theatre play. In addition to the cultural celebrations, there were also expert lectures by in-house faculties. These lectures aimed to provide attendees with a deeper understanding of the Constitution and its significance in Indian society. They covered various topics, including the history of the Constitution, its values and principles, and how it has evolved over time.


One of the highlights of the event was the Parliamentary Debate. This was a platform for participants to showcase their knowledge of the Constitution and to engage in a lively debate about various issues related to it. The debate was judged by a panel of experts, and the winner was awarded a prize. Another event that took place during the week-long celebration was the Constitutional Frames. This was an opportunity for people to create and display their artwork that was inspired by the Constitution's values and principles. The artwork included paintings, drawings, and sculptures that showcased the Constitution's importance in Indian society. There was also a Pick and Speak event, which was aimed at improving participants' public speaking skills. The participants were given a topic related to the Constitution and were asked to speak about it for a few minutes. This event helped participants to learn how to communicate effectively and to express their thoughts and opinions clearly. Finally, the week-long celebration concluded with a Validatory Ceremony. This was a time for attendees to reflect on what they had learned during the week and to celebrate the Constitution's values and principles. The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries and officials, who emphasized the importance of the Constitution and its role in shaping Indian society.
