Club Activity
The School of Business and Management – BBA, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus – ‘The Hub of Analytics’, organized the final Club Activity session of the semester on 25th April 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM across BBA Classrooms in the Management Block. Conducted for First and Second Year BBA students as part of the Academic Year 2025–26, the event featured three massive interdisciplinary collaborations designed to conclude the term with a balance of intense practical application, reflective feedback, and community building. The session was coordinated by Ms. Devleena Banerjee, supported by student volunteers, and witnessed active participation from approximately 37 students.
This week’s theme centered on Creative Resilience, Honest Reflection, and Inter-Domain Networking. A major academic highlight was the expansive collaboration between the Finance, ED, and Commune-cat Clubs in Classroom 2400. In a highly demanding "Creative Pitching Activity," students were assigned unconventional product ideas and forced to deliver business pitches under severe constraints. These included artificially limited speech patterns, restrictive delivery styles, and sudden behavioral constraints. As teams navigated investor-style interruptions and defended their ideas against competitor challenges, the simulation rigorously tested their ability to think on their feet, effectively blending financial logic with agile, resilient communication.
In Classroom 2401, the Marketing and SMPR Clubs joined forces to host a reflective and analytical finale. The session opened with a "Fishbowl Discussion," a format designed to allow participants to share their thoughts and feedback anonymously. This method successfully stripped away hesitation, encouraging honest opinions and open dialogue about the semester's initiatives. Following this, the session transitioned into a critical media analysis where members collectively broke down a commercial advertisement, dissecting its core message, underlying themes, and overall consumer impact. This provided a thought-provoking, academic conclusion to their club sessions.
Finally, emphasizing the importance of mental well-being and cross-cohort socialization, the MDQ, HRM, and Analytics Clubs transformed Classroom 2402 into an informal cinematic space. Moving entirely away from standard academic drills, the clubs hosted a collaborative movie screening of the supernatural horror film The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It. This unexpected and highly engaging choice served as the perfect icebreaker, bringing together students from heavily contrasting domains (data analytics, human resources, and debating) to unwind, socialize, and build a cohesive community ahead of the semester-end examinations.
Overall, the final session of the term successfully encapsulated the holistic goals of the BBA club program. By combining high-pressure entrepreneurial pitching, critical marketing reflection, and much-needed inter-club socialization, the event ensured students left the semester intellectually sharpened and socially integrated
