National Conference on `Application of Analytics on Business Reengineering’
At the outset the Department of Commerce and Management Studies welcomed the august gathering comprising of educationists, academicians, faculty members, research scholars, post-doctoral / doctorate/ graduates and more. After the formal registration the program began with traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries while the university choir team sang the prayer song. The welcome address was given by the convener, Dr Guru Aradhya. Then Director & Dean, Dr Fr Jossy P George addressed the gathering.
The Keynote Speaker, Mr Saurabh Rishi, Associate Vice President, MCA Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Bengaluru was welcomed and felicitated. Mr Saurabh is an analyst /consultant with over a decade of rich experience in data analytics, business consulting, market research and consulting start-ups. He did Executive Program in ‘Business Analytics and Intelligence’ from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) and shares his professional experience all over the country. He is associated with MCA Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, since 2015 till date as Associate Vice President, Analytics /Consultant. His forte lies in strategic development of the analytics vertical; be Independent Consulting Projects, Financial planning for an analytics start-up, Consultancy services for a multi-level marketing venture. Some of his successful projects are related to Analytics, BI, ML and Data Science.
The organizing committee invited research papers from scholars, academics, corporate leaders and students on the conference themes and sub-themes as per the guidelines. The accepted papers will be published in Scopus indexed/ UGC-CARE group A Journal category provided the author(s) accept the terms and conditions of the journal.
Regarding guidelines, it was mentioned categorically that the paper should comprise of abstract, introduction, research questions/objectives, hypothesis, literature review, research methodology and findings. It was mandatory to note that the abstract should not exceed 300 words with key-words. The full length paper including abstract should not exceed 3000 words.
Financial Analytics included Risk Management, Financial Market Analytics, Capital Market, Fin-tech, Financial Modeling and Application of Artificial Intelligence in Finance, Forensic and Insurance Analytics.
The sub themes of Human Resource Analytics were Talent Analytics, Work Force Planning & Strategy, Social Media Analytics, People Analytics, Return on investment Metrics on Human Capital, Block-chain Technology in HR, Employee Gamification and Corporate Culture Analytics.
Marketing Analytics sub themes included Maturity Model, Artificial Intelligence for Marketing, Analytics Social Media Recruitment, Retail Analytics, Market basket analytics, Internet of Things, Customer Analytics, Analytics Employee, Digital Analytics and Web Analytics.
Analytics and its application has permeated into almost all spheres of human life. While there are disruptions and paradigm shifts analytics has also opened doors for a plethora of innovation & advancement. With analytics in full sway, the world is in a perennial flux. The future landscape of analytics seems exciting as well as daunting. A panel discussion by erudite speakers on Analytics Landscape will deliberate on the future landscape of analytics and shed light on the direction which analytics and its allied areas are headed towards.
