Dr Wendy from Liverpool Hope University visits CHRIST, Lavasa

Dr  Wendy Bignold, Associate Dean (International) and Head of Residential Life, Liverpool Hope University, Liverpool addressed the BBA and MBA students on 11th March 2020. She was highly impressed by the infrastructure and warmly welcomed by Director & Dean, Dr Fr Jossy George on behalf of CHRIST, Lavasa. Dr Fr Jossy expressed his gratitude to Dr Wendy for taking out time from her hectic schedule to visit the university. It was an honour to interact with her and discuss matters pertaining to the development of CHRIST and have a meaningful conversation.

Fr Jossy was extremely pleased to hear that MBA students; Madan and Aneesh are doing very well at Liverpool Hope University. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to Dr Wendy for her guidance and support, without which the students would not have been able to adjust. He was also appreciative of her constant motivation and helping the Christites gain knowledge and experience at Liverpool Hope University.


Dr Wendy addressed the BBA and MBA students also. The students found it very inspiring and showed interest in getting to know more about Liverpool Hope University. They listened in rapt attention and asked pertinent questions related to the university. Dr Wendy was pleased to share her experience with the young Christites and is hopeful of a future collaboration with CHRIST, Lavasa. A brief interaction with Dr Wendy left a deep impact in the mind and hearts of young students. They were highly impressed by her views and expressions.

Fr Jossy also expressed his gratitude for an enlightening and fruitful discussion with Dr Wendy. He was impressed by her views and the conversation steered towards working together in future for some student exchange projects. Fr Jossy could see a ray of hope in his conversation with Dr Wendy. He was also thankful to her for supporting the international student exchange program. Fr Jossy George expressed a keen desire to send BBA, MBA and M SC Data Science students of CHRIST, Lavasa for the same. He is optimistic that once he receives curriculum details from Dr Wendy he will begin to work upon it. One looks forward to future collaborations with Liverpool Hope University with hope and optimism.
