Second Commencement Day Speech by Mr. Vineet Aggarwal, Co-CEO, SG Analytics on Friday, 13th August, 2021 at 2.30 PM to 3.30 PM

The speech session was started with the welcoming of the guest by Dr. Becky Thomas, Academic Coordinator, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Pune Lavasa Campus – “The Hub of Analytics”.

Mr. Vineet Agarwal, CA (Finance Accounting) professional is a Business builder, Socially Responsible Investor, Research and Analytics expert. Mr. Vineet has hands on experience of setting up & growing multiple business in the research & analytics space over the past 20 years. He is currently Partner and Co-CEO SG Analytics, he worked as Director for Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services and Vice President Amba Research. He also worked for Brickwork India, Staffleader India Pvt. Ltd and Outsource Partners International. 

 

Mr. Vineet started his speech with “be in you”. He was speaking to the audience of fresh MBA students. He mentioned about the various feelings that the students go through during their early days of doing MBA. He also mentioned about his learnings and feelings when he was a Chartered Accountant and was trained for finance and accounting business. He also mentioned how he upskilled himself through various courses on business analytics and how he reached on to the top of SG analytics which is into the global business of analytics. 

He gave the gyan on how to learn from life skilling. He mentioned the importance of learning from the environment. He mentioned to the students not to be nervous and not to be afraid. He mentioned his own example when he was the student and was at all clear about what is there for him in this corporate world. He was focused and never hesitate to learn from his mentors, guides, friends and relatives. Environments has lot to give. It is your potential to learn and upskill yourself.

He mentioned that all of us has dreams. One should always work towards his or her dreams. Dreaming is perfectly alright. One should always give some time on how to achieve the dreams. Some of us have the dream to become entrepreneur or reach on to the top of the corporate world. It is completely okay. Identify the skills required to achieve those dreams and learn. Lifelong learning is the key for success. It’s okay to take some certificates from outside and upgrade your skills. As the time is changing fast, the business professionals need to learn and unlearn fast. Continuous learning is key for success in today’s business world. Keep working towards your dreams every day by taking single steps. This will help you prepare for the corporate world.

He played the game of sentiments with the fresh MBA Trainees and collect single worlds from each of them to understand their feelings. He made them to understand the large economies and the new ways of doing things. It was an interactive session.

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
