The Insight Squad, a club of Business Analytics students from School of Business and Management (MBA), orchestrated an edifying Food Clash event under the sagacious supervision of Professor Anshul Saxena. The event commenced at precisely 1:30 PM and facilitated the congregation of a diverse array of students from multifarious academic disciplines. Participants were methodically grouped into teams comprising five individuals. The objective bestowed upon them was unequivocal: to concoct a nutritious main course and an accompanying non-alcoholic beverage within a stringent time frame of 45 minutes. The atmosphere was replete with fervour as participants diligently engaged in culinary tasks.
Faculty members rendered an instrumental role in bolstering the participants. Their involvement was far from passive; they exhibited active encouragement and support, effectively alleviating the anxieties associated with the temporal constraints. Upon the cessation of the allotted time, the atmosphere was laden with anticipation. The judges, Professor Jobin Jacob and Mr. Ali Akbar Kanchwala, embarked upon their evaluative expedition. With discernment and expertise, they assessed each dish and beverage, proffering salient advice and feedback.
The evaluation criteria encompassed the taste, presentation, and nutritional value of the dishes. Post extensive contemplation, the adjudicators announced the results. This event, however, transcended a mere competition; it constituted an exemplary platform for students to exhibit their culinary aptitudes and ingenuity. Furthermore, it served to accentuate the importance of nutritious eating habits.In light of the event’s success, it is imperative to outline five management objectives to optimize the efficacy and outcomes of similar future events:
