International Experience Sharing Sessions on 17th December 2025
The Office of International Affairs (OIA), CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, successfully organised the International Experience Sharing Session Phase II on 17 December 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at the Banquet Hall, Central Block. This session was conducted as a continuation of Phase I with the objective of providing a structured forum for faculty members to share insights, reflections, and outcomes from their international academic engagements. The programme aimed to strengthen the university’s global outlook while promoting best practices in teaching, research, and institutional development.
In addition to teaching and learning perspectives, the faculty members emphasised the importance of research collaborations and interdisciplinary engagement. Experiences related to participation in international conferences, workshops, and scholarly discussions were shared, underscoring the role of global academic networks in enhancing research quality, academic visibility, and institutional reputation. The presenters also reflected on opportunities for joint publications, collaborative projects, faculty exchange initiatives, and long-term academic partnerships that emerged from their international engagements.
The session further facilitated reflective discussions among participants on aligning global best practices with institutional priorities. Faculty members gained clarity on administrative structures, academic governance models, and student engagement strategies adopted by international universities. Such discussions enabled participants to critically examine existing practices and identify areas for innovation and improvement within their respective departments and academic programmes.
Cross-cultural exposure and professional development formed a significant component of the discussions. Faculty members shared reflections on intercultural communication, academic work culture, and administrative practices observed abroad, highlighting the value of cultural sensitivity and adaptability in global academic environments. These experiences were acknowledged as contributing significantly to personal growth, global competence, and enhanced teaching effectiveness.
Overall, the programme served as an effective platform for knowledge dissemination, reflective learning, and academic inspiration, strengthening institutional collaboration and reinforcing shared academic values globally. The International Experience Sharing Session – Phase II reaffirmed CHRIST (Deemed to be University)’s commitment to internationalisation, academic excellence, and continuous quality enhancement in higher education. The event concluded with acknowledgements to all the presenters, organising and supporting teams, and participants for their valuable contributions, which ensured the successful conduct of the programme.
