CIM Initiates a Cleanliness Drive in Lavasa
A cleanliness drive was organised by the Center of Social Activities Club - Vikaas from Christ Institute of Management, Lavasa in association with Gram Panchayat Dasve of Mulshi Taluka, Lavasa on Friday, 25th January 2019 near the centrally located Town Hall.
CIM upholds values of cleanliness and maintaining hygiene in and around the surroundings. The cleanliness initiative was solely taken to inspire all the citizens of Lavasa to protect this beautiful city and keep it neat and clean not just on special occasions but throughout the year.

The enthusiastic participants assembled in front of Town Hall around 2.30 pm and began the cleaning process with great zeal and enthusiasm. To mark the occasion a welcome address was given by a student in Marathi and Hindi.
The students of CIM were divided into teams and were allocated various locations. The mission continued till 4.30 pm. The students felt motivated under the guidance of Director, Fr Jossy and Academic Coordinator, Fr Arun and their coordinator, Dr Benny Godwin.
They congratulated the entire team for working hard to accomplish the task. Fr Jossy P George thanked the entire team of CSA volunteers for their cooperation and selfless service. He specially mentioned Dr Benny's efforts in organising the event successfully.

Fr Arun found the activity very meaningful which engaged the students in a positive manner. It cemented the bond with the city. Everyone felt that it was their duty to maintain cleanliness in the city. Fr Arun further encouraged the students and advised that as an institution one should be constantly involved in a noble cause and do different things to make a difference in the valley.
